Malaysian Airline System (MAS) will start direct flights from Penang to Kuching and Kota Kinabalu with effect Dec 1, 2021.
The Penang to Kota Kinabalu flight is on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday leaving at 9.10am.
The one-way ticket is priced at RM279.
The flights from Penang to Kuching are on Thursday and Saturday with flights at 7.40am and 1.10pm respectively priced at RM219.
The direct flights offer the perfect opportunity for those who could not return home to see their family and friends due to the MCO.
