If you are keen to know more about wine and its history, you stand to gain valuable knowledge at the “Wine Workshop & Tastings” to be held at the Mercure Langkawi Pantai Cenang this Friday (June 28) from 10am to 4pm.
The session will be led by William Chong who is the Regional director (Northern Region) for AsiaEuro Wines & Spirits.
He comes with a wealth of experience of over 25 years in the wine industry.
He is the wine educator and wine connoisseur. He has attended wine courses in Singapore, Australia and New Zealand and holds a Diploma in Wine from Bob Campbell MW in New Zealand.

He believes in educating consumers and customers about the enjoyment of quality whisky and wine is crucial. William emphasizes that tastings, workshops and events can enhance their appreciation.
Meanwhile, among the topics covered at the session are – “Vine to Wine”, “How to read/understand labels”, “Champagne & Sparkling tasting”, “Old World Wine vs New World Wine”, “Fortified Wines” and “Storage of Wines” and “Wine Service”.
The session will include a buffet lunch. Entrance fee is RM98 (members) and RM128 (non- members).
