M Social Resort Penang is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Michelle Maria Azcona as the new Director of BusinessDevelopment, effective June 3, 2025.
In her new role, she will report directly to General Manager Ms. Jasmine Keh.
Michelle brings with her a wealth of experience from the hospitality industry, having held key roles at some of Malaysia’s most prominent hotels and resorts.
Her impressive resume includes positions at Shangri-La’s Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa, Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Novotel KLCC, the Hilton group, WebBeds, as well as Berjaya Langkawi and Berjaya Tioman. Most recently, she was part of the team at Mercure Langkawi Pantai Cenang.
While this marks her first professional venture into Penang, Michelle is excited to establish new partnerships and business networks in the region. “We aim to grow both our corporate and leisure market segments, allowing more guests to experience the vibrant charm of our new resort in Tanjung Bungah,” she shared.
