The Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) as announced recently will enable borders between Malaysia and Singapore to be opened via air travel effective Nov 29, 2021.
Applications are open now.
The point of connection is the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and the Changi Airport.
The initiative will also spur business activities and families to reunite.
Only fully vaccinated travellers who have taken Covid-19 tests prior to their departure are eligible.
Six airlines are expected to operate the route. They are AirAsia, Jetstar Asia, Malaysia Airlines, Malindo Air, Scoot and Singapore Airlines.
The next momentous move will be the opening of land travel which is also much awaited especially in Johor. This will surely help the various businesses like eateries, hotels, traders and more.
