The Hompton Hotel Penang held its staff annual party recently where some 120 team members gathered.
The theme for the night was “Night of the Stars – An evening of elegance”.
Upon arrival, the staff members were greeted by their general manager, Steven Suffian and other heads of departments.
In his welcoming address, Steven thanked his team members for their hard work and dedication.
“Tonight, we gather not just as a team, but as a family, to celebrate you — the people who make our hotel what it is. Welcome to our 2025 Staff Party: Night of the Stars – An Evening of Elegance.
“This evening is special because every star in this room represents hard work, dedication, and heart,” he stressed.
He also called upon them to unwind, to relax, to laugh, to enjoy great food, great company, and great entertainment.
“Forget the stress, forget the workload and just celebrate the occasion.
“Each of you play a part in creating memorable experiences for our guests — from the front desk to housekeeping, from F&B kitchen to maintenance, from sales to security, from hr to finance. Your teamwork, patience, and passion are what keeps our hotel shining bright every single day.
“As we look ahead, I am confident that with this team, we will continue to reach new heights. Together, we will create more unforgettable moments for our guests and build a workplace we are proud to call our second home,” he added.
The dinner also saw vibrant staff performances, lucky draw, talent showcase and rewarding team members for long service too.
