The newest 5-star boutique hotel in Penang, The George is set to hold its soft opening on Monday, December 12, 2022.
Located right in the smack of Georgetown and the UNESCO World Heritage site, The George will be the newest hotel to join the hospitality industry in the island.
Georgetown, also known as The Pearl Of Orient, was developed over 500 years of trading and cultural exchange between East and West in the Straits of Malacca, now a colorful, multicultural capital of the Malaysian island of Penang.
Once an important Straits of Malacca trading hub, the city is also known for its British colonial buildings, Chinese shophouses, food paradise, shopping malls, and a thousand of other attractions.
Featuring some 92 tastefully decorated and chic rooms and suites set in the colonial era, they offer all of the modern convenience.

Construction of The George started in 2018 with six regal majestic floors – a royal classic building under the Rules & Regulation of Heritage.
