The second edition of the Northern International Audio & Visual Show 2024 will be held at the Amari SPICE Penang from April 26 to 28, 2024.

The highly anticipated showcase is set to bring together like-minded enthusiasts and also beginners to this unique event to celebrate the art of sight and sound. 

A press conference to update on the latest developments on the event was held attended by the State Exco for Tourism & Creative Economy YB Wong Hon Wai, Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB) chief executive office, Ashwin Gunasekeran, event organiser Wilson Yeoh and Dato Khoo Boo Lim.

“The Northern International Audio & Visual Show is not merely a celebration of cutting-edge technologies and innovation in the high-end audio-visual industry, it serves as a powerful testament to Penang’s unwavering commitment to the Penang2030 vision.

“With the participation of more than 42 exhibitors comprising both local stalwarts and international representatives, this show stands as a testament to the ingenuity and excellence within the audio and visual technologies sphere.  

“We are also in the process of building the eco-system for the entertainment and concerts market,” said Wong.

Meanwhile Ashwin, paid tribute to the event which has grown since the first edition to more than double the participation and the interest of international media and exhibitors.

Some of the renowned brands taking part in the show are ATC Audio (UK), MSB Technology (USA), DALI (Denmark), Borrensen Acoustic (Denmark), HiFi Rose (South Korea), Silbatone Acoustics (South Korea), LUMIN (China), Marten (Sweden), Sonus faber (Italy) and Novaris (Australia) to name a few. 

To spice up the programme, there will also be a long list of local performers from far and near. The concert will be held from 7pm at the SPICE Rooftop Garden.

Among the performers are Penang Jazz Society, KipDaGruv, Saiko-Rama, Warnabumi, The Harmonious Band, Somebody Who, Megan, Roger Wang 3.3, Gareth MC Show, The Big Band, Yogi B to name a few.

Enthusiasts from neighbouring states like Kelantan, Kedah, Perlis, Perak, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Malacca and also Singapore are expected to attend the gathering.

Other than the showcase of audio & visual equipment, they will also offer a series of presentations by manufacturers and exhibitors, this will help elevate the visual experience.
