The Hard Rock Hotel Penang in collaboration with Armory TCG will host the Music, Art, Toys, Cosplay and Hobbies gathering or MATCH x PLAY 2024.
The gathering will be held on May 18 and 19, 2024 from 12noon till 9pm.
MATCH x PLAY 2024 aims to create a vibrant tapestry of Anime, Comic, and Games cultures, seamlessly woven with the infectious rhythms of music.
The event is conceived as a gathering and celebration, bringing together engaging activities, creative showcases, and boundless opportunities for fellowship among fans of all generations.
This year’s edition of MATCH x PLAY will see an exhilarating lineup of activities.
Attendees can look forward to intense battles in Trading Card Games featuring favorites like Pokemon, Vanguard & Flesh and Blood. Additionally, a Premier Card Grading service will be available for collectors looking to have their cards professionally inspected and graded.
For Warhammer enthusiasts, a special tutorial session will provide insights into the art of Warhammer painting, coupled with engaging gameplay.
The event will also feature Interactive Booths & Digital Game Tournaments, offering a hands-on experience and competitive gaming atmosphere.
Cosplay will take center stage with a Cosplay Central area dedicated to showcasing vocal talents through a Singing Competition, as well as creativity and performance skills in a Performance Competition.
Additionally, MATCH x PLAY 2024 promises a vibrant and pulsating atmosphere with live music and stage performances, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all.
Adding to the excitement, a Lucky Draw will give attendees the chance to win amazing prizes, and Special Guest Appearances are set to thrill fans, providing unique opportunities to meet some of their idols.
