A group of big bikes from Bangkok descended on Penang island for their onward journey back home to Hat Yai and Bangkok.
They were on their seven-days trip to Kuala Lumpur and Malacca to take in the sights and good food.
The group consisting of 13 high powered bikes is headed by Ms Patthilak Nanthapaphakorn who is also the translator of the group.
They have been planning this trip since the last six months with the support of the Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture (Penang) led by its director Jonathan Freddy Bagang here.
Lending support was Penang Global Tourism chief executive officer, Ooi Chok Yan, Dato Gulab Mahatam (Neo Hotel general manager), Yogin (Tourism Malaysia), Allen Loh (GM Hotel Malaysia) and Ms Pauline Chua from Bangkok.
In all, some 20 riders are on the trip. Their bikes range from high powered BMW, Yamaha and Honda brands.
“We are planning a trip to Cambodia next and again plan to come to Penang next year,” said Ms Nanthapaphakorn.
