Held in Kuala Lumpur, the 2026 championship was hosted by the Malaysia Gourmet Association in collaboration with HJ Seafood Treasure Restaurant, bringing together an exceptional field of accomplished chefs from across the region to showcase their culinary artistry, technical precision, and innovation in Cantonese cuisine.
Chef Fabian impressed the judges with his masterfully executed signature creation, Wok-Fried Lobster with Fermented Black Bean and Peppers, served with Asparagus in Coconut Golden Sauce.
The dish demonstrated a harmonious balance of traditional Cantonese techniques with refined flavours, highlighting his commitment to culinary excellence and craftsmanship.
