For the very first time, members of the Society of the Golden Keys Malaysia will convene their Annual General Meeting (AGM election year term 2026-2028) in the historic city of George Town, Penang, marking a significant milestone for the organisation and the local hospitality community.
The gathering is scheduled to take place on Monday, 11 May 2026, at the Sunway Hotel Georgetown, bringing together more than 50 members from across the country, alongside over 20 prominent hospitality leaders based in Penang.
Designed as both a professional and social engagement, the event will feature a dedicated “Education Day” session aimed at fostering knowledge-sharing and industry development.
This will be complemented by curated sightseeing experiences and corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, reflecting the society’s commitment to community engagement and holistic hospitality excellence.
The AGM will also provide an ideal platform for members and invited guests to connect, exchange insights, and strengthen professional camaraderie. The organising committee also would like to express its sincere appreciation and thanks to the management of the Sunway Hotel Georgetown for its support towards hosting the AGM.
