ShopeeFood, Shopee’s online food delivery service, made its foray to Penang making it the third city in the country.
Present at a launching ceremony yesterday was State Exco for Domestic & International Trade, Consumer Affairs and Entrepreneurship Development, Abdul Halim Hussain along with ShopeePay&ShoppeFood Head of Marketing, Cheok Tuan Ee at the Coco Island Street Food located along Gurney Drive here.
The latest expansion fortifies the presence of ShopeeFood in major cities of Malaysia. ShopeeFood currently operates in Klang Valley and Johor Bahru and with this new expansion, ShopeeFood hopes to enable more Malaysians to benefit from this service.
ShopeeFood aims to provide Shopee users with a convenient and seamless food delivery experience by offering a range of local and international food via the mobile app. Merchants include renowned hawker stalls from key areas such as Pulau Pinang, George Town, Ayer Itam, Gelugor, Tanjung Bungah, Bayan Lepas and Jelutong – serving local favorites such as Nasi Kandar Pelita, Mee Goreng Bos!, Penang Chendul, Pasembor and many others.
