S P Setia Berhad (“Setia” or “the Group”) takes it to the next level with its Merdeka Day and Malaysia Day celebrations as it proudly presents the Setia4Malaysia Unity Run 2025 to be held on 7 September 2025; this time at its verdant, northern flagship 1,691-acre township of Setia Fontaines in Penang.

Surrounded by lush landscapes, the Setia4Malaysia Unity Run 2025 promises good food, entertainment, and tons of energy.

To mark the occasion further, the Group extends its celebration by hosting the Setia4Malaysia Unity Fest events for the first time, which will take place concurrently across selected flagship townships on 6 to 7 September 2025, including Setia Eco Gardens, Setia Bayuemas, Setia Alamsari, KL Eco City, Setia AlamImpian, Setia Eco Glades, Setia Warisan Tropika, and internationally in Setia Vietnam and Setia Melbourne.

Setia’s Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Christinne Lim shares, “We are thrilled to host the upcoming Setia4Malaysia Unity Run 2025 at our flagship township Setia Fontaines, Penang, which is poised to be the next hotspot in the Northern region.”

She adds that this will be the first time that Setia has ventured to a different location outside of Klang Valley. “Aligning with our development philosophy of Live Learn Work, Play, our aim is to bring everyone together and to foster wellness in all our communities through this programme.”

“As we amplify our Merdeka Day and Malaysia Day festivities, we will be hosting the Setia4Malaysia Unity Fest events inaugurally across our selected flagship developments such as Setia Bayuemas, Setia Alamsari, KL Eco City, Setia AlamImpian, Setia Eco Glades, Setia Warisan Tropika, and internationally in Setia Vietnam and Setia Melbourne. Each location will offer unique cultural experiences such as live t-shirt printing, DIY Merdeka kite-making, batik canting, henna art, face painting, traditional games, blind box giveaways, and Malaysian delicacies. Delving into the Setia4Malaysia Unity Run 2025, the programme will kick off at 4.30am with fun warm-up sessions and family-friendly activities, followed by a vibrant bazaar that will feature handmade cultural crafts and local treats.

Now in its fifth consecutive year, the programme anticipates more than 3,000 participants and will offer three main race categories: a 3km fun run (for families and beginners); a 10km challenge (for experienced runners); and a 21km half marathon (for seasoned athletes).

All participants will receive an exclusive event jersey while 21km finishers will be awarded a finisher’s medal and jersey. Podium winners for both 10km and 21km will be awarded cash prizes, and the first 500 registrants will each receive a complimentary Eco Eco plushie.
