Every year, around this time, there is a natural formation of a sandbar which allows people to walk to the nearby island from the Tanjung Rhu Resort Langkawi.
This time around the Tanjung Rhu Resort organised its Sand Bar Walk 2022 from early as 7am till 8.15am for house guests and members of the public to partake in the natural phenomenon.
The sandbar walk measures around 600 metres.
Lending support was the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) Kedah / Perlis Chapter chairman Eugene Dass along with family and friends.
Also present was their MAH National CEO Yap Lip Seng. Coincidentally, the chapter is also holding its annual general meeting at the resort.
In all, around 700 people turned up to experience the amazing sight and experience.
