The Royale Chulan Penang will reopen to fully vaccinated guests starting from Monday, November 1, 2021.
After a brief term as a quarantine centre for low-risk patients, the hotel is now preparing to welcome both leisure and business travellers to enjoy the hotel and its facilities.
The Royale Chulan Penang has constantly emphasized the importance of having a safe and clean environment, as such, the hotel has implemented a multi-pronged approach to ensure guests feel safe and comfortable.
The measures taken include:
1) Updated training program for all hotel associates on new cleaning and guest
interaction protocols.
2) Frequent and thorough cleaning and disinfection of rooms between guest departures and arrivals.
3) Regular sanitizing of all touch surface areas and public areas.
4) Hand Sanitizer dispensers placed at all designated areas such as Front Desk, F&B Outlets etc.
5) Mandatory temperature check for all guests and staff.
6) Social Distancing measures at all high traffic areas such as inside the lifts, front desk, dining areas, hotel entrance, staff entrance etc.
All staff are also fully vaccinated and are required to wash or sanitize their hands as frequently as possible. Operation staff are also required to wear gloves and masks at all times.
In addition, the hotel is also collaborating with ecoCare – Pest Paramedics & Biofresh Hygiene Services for a major sanitising project that covered all public and staff areas starting today Friday, Oct 29 , 2021.
The hotel is already sanitised daily by the housekeeping staff but this will give an added layer of security and will give confidence for future guests to stay again at the Royale Chulan Penang.
The Resident Manager Dennis Lee as well as the management team of Royale Chulan Penang together with the Director of Operations, Managing Director and General Manager of ecoCare were on hand to oversee the project which will take an estimated five (5) hours to complete.
Others from ecoCare were its general manager, Alvin Lee, director, Nicholas Lee and managing director Rondy Yunanda.
In conjunction with the reopening, they are offering room rates starting from RM140 nett per night and bookings have started flowing in steadily.
The hotel is also bringing back its crowd favourite buffet – the Ho Liao Buffet Dinner every Friday and Saturday starting from Nov 5, 2021.
A new weekday lunch promo, Let’s Go Lunch, will also be available at the Sri Tanjung Café for dine-in starting from 1 st November 2021.
With these enhanced measures and new promotions, the hope is that it will provide both staff and guests with a sense of ease during this difficult time and they are certainly looking forward to continuing welcoming valued guests to the hotel again.
