The Rasa Sayang Resort (RSR) recently hosted three Hong Kong stars – Charlene Choi, Gillian Chung, and Joey Yung.
They were there to film ‘因为是朋友2 or “Because We Are Friends 2”, a travel reality show that will be released in its second season before June this year.
The program includes filming the cultural heritage of George Town, as well as the grounds and gardens of RSR.
The upcoming season aims to introduce more people from the People’s Republic of China to Penang’s uniqueness and attractions.
The resort’s Director of Communications, Dato Suleiman Tunku Abdul Rahman said that with more direct flights arriving from China, this upcoming TV reality show would attract more Chinese travellers to the island.

Meanwhile, the film also shows the celebrities with the General Manager, Markus Christ, and the culinary team after the last day of filming at the Pinang Restaurant & Bar.
