The FIP Lounge at the Shangri-La Rasa Sayang, Penang, was buzzing with excitement at the recent Monthly Guests Cocktail.

Two skilled calligraphers from the Penang Chinese Brush Painting Art Society were invited to share their craft with guests, offering a hands-on experience that transformed the cocktail into a cultural celebration.
With brushes in hand, attendees eagerly gathered around tables, ready to learn the delicate strokes of Chinese writing. Guided by the calligraphers, guests discovered the beauty and intricacy behind each character.
The joy of learning was palpable as everyone took turns writing their names in Chinese, each stroke creating a sense of accomplishment and a deeper connection to the rich tradition they were engaging with.
