Queensbay Mall is always mindful of the needy community within its vicinity when carrying out its corporate social responsibility (CSR) obligations.
This time around, they hosted some 50 children from Rumah Jagaan Nasyiatul Aisyiyah from Balik Pulau.
On hand to greet the children and caretakers was Selina Ng, general manager, Mall Management (Northern Region) and assistant centre manager, Lee Sue Ling
The main atrium at the mall was also decked with decorations of a Arabian market or “Souq Ramadhan” complete with two life-sized camels.
Other highlights for shoppers to look forward to are Morrocan lights, carpets, rugs, rattan baskets, henna art, jewellery among others.
The mall management also presented a cash donation of RM3,000 towards the orphanage while the AEON supermarket contributed goody bags for the young ones.
The kids were later hosted to some fine KFC treat to break fast while ‘chilly’, the KFC mascot, handed out balloons and other goodies to the children.
