Dazzling models on the runway

Deepavali is around the corner and the Queensbay Mall in Bayan Lepas is gearing up with festive decorations and programmes.
Decked on the main atrium of the mall are colorful decorations of swans, lotus flowers and other festive structures.
The Festival of Lights will be celebrated by the Indian community on November 12, 2023.
Present at the launch ceremony was State Exco for agrotechnology, food security and cooperative development YB Fahmi Zainol, Ms Lee Sue Ling, Centre Manager Queensbay Mall and Peter Chan, general manager of Gurney Plaza and Queensbay Mall along with their team.
Guests were treated to several traditional dance performances showcased by the children from the Temple of Fine Arts here. Among them were the bharatnatyam, Oddisi and Dandiya stick dance.
This was followed by a dazzling fashion show with jewellery from SK Jewellers on the runway.
The team of VIP guests also performed the launch ceremony in a dazzle of colourful light show. Onlookers on the terraces had a bird eye view of the proceedings.
The evening ended with a presentation of souvenirs for the performers and models for the showcase.
