The Prestige Hotel Penang has proudly brought home one of the travel industry’s highest honours, being named the “Best Hotel Penang” at the prestigious TTG Travel Awards 2025.
The hotel made history as the only recipient from Penang’s hospitality sector to be recognised at this year’s ceremony, which took place last night at the Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld in Bangkok, Thailand.
Organised annually by TTG Asia, the TTG Travel Awards celebrates outstanding organisations and individuals across the Asia-Pacific travel industry, recognising excellence in service, innovation, and commitment to the tourism sector. The awards are widely regarded as a benchmark of excellence in the region.
Representing The Prestige Hotel Penang at the ceremony was general manager Melvin Ooi, who accepted the award on behalf of the entire team.
