To keep up the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, 30 boxes of personal protective equipment (PPE) were sent by Yayasan Sin Chew through MCA Alor Star to the Fuller Hotel here.
The Fuller Hotel was converted into a low-risk quarantine centre (category 1 & 2 only) on Sept 1, 2021.
On hand to receive the PPEs was Star City Hotel / Fuller Hotel general manager, Eugene Dass along with MCA vice chairman Choo Wai Ban, Chan Yoke Kew, Cheng Eng Chui. and their secretary, Loh Eng Chong.
Dass is also the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH Kedah/Perlis) Chapter chairman.
Also present at the ceremony was Fuller Hotel manager Jasmin Manan and Justlyn Lai, Sales and Marketing manager.
“The PPEs will be distributed to those housed at Fuller Hotel. Presently, we have some 35 people staying with us,” added Dass.
Room rates start from RM120 to RM240 (single/double rooms). The package comes with three meals, doctor on call and wifi facilities.
All transportation will abide by the necessary SOPs. They will also provide transport for those in Sungai Petani, Kulim and Penang.
