Education is the key for success in life.
Penang Chief Minister II YB Jagdeep Singh Deo officiated such a commendable project to present scholarships for needy students.
“I am glad to witness the presentation of scholarships worth over RM 2.7 million to 100 educators graduate studies by Binary University.
Also present at the presentation ceremony was the university founder Tan Sri Professor Joseph Adaikalam.
The philanthropist has offered a total of 800 scholarships globally worth RM 75 million to date.
“On a personal note, I would not be the lawyer and Deputy Chief Minister II today if not for being given a scholarship to study law in the UK.
“I will continue to ensure that education remains our top priority to provide talent for the industry”, added Jagdeep.
