The venue offers Penangites and visitors various facilities for the whole family to enjoy the scenery and facilities there.
Among them are the children’s play area, skate park, promenade, south vantage point and recreation park.
Present to launch the Gurney Bay was Penang Governor Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak, Penang Chief Minister YAB Chow Kon Yeow Penang Deputy Chief Minister YB Jagdeep Singh Deo, former Penang CM Lim Guan Eng, Penang Island City Council Mayor Dato A Rajendran and a host of other personalities.
The site will serve as a green lung around the Gurney Drive area and also promote the state’s Vision of Penang 2030.
