Despite the heavy downpour this morning, Penang Chief Minister YAB Chow Kon Yeow braved the rain to attend the Northern Region Sikh Family MELA at the Youth Park.
Chow was welcomed by Deputy Chief Minister II YB Jagdeep Singh Deo and his team at the gathering.
In his address, Chow reminded the youths gathered on their role to be the leaders of the future.
“You should at all times respect the elders and your family,” said Chow in reminding the youths at the gathering.
Jagdeep in his address thanked the Chief Minister for taking time to attending the event
“The programs today also mark the Malaysia Day celebrations and emphasize the love we have for our family members and for our future generations,” he added.
