The Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa, Langkawi recently hosted a special buffet preview introducing its much-anticipated break-fasting dining experience entitled Santapan Senja Pelangi. The preview event was held to showcase the culinary highlights of the upcoming buffet while also promoting the Early Bird offer.
Curated by Executive Chef Saleh Samihan, Santapan Senja Pelangi celebrates the rich flavours of traditional Malaysian cuisine, featuring an array of comforting and indulgent local delights.
Among the signature dishes highlighted during the preview were the ever-popular Kambing Golek with Kabsah Rice, assorted Kerabu such Long Bean Salad with Prawns, Kerabu Beronok (Sea Cucumber Salad), Sotong Kangkung, Stuffed Tofu, Gear Box Soup, Green Fried Rice, Asam Pedas Ikan Pari, Ketam Masak Lemak (Crab Cooked in Coconut Milk), desserts with six varieties of traditional Malay Kuih, Ubi Kayu (cassava) served with Gula Melaka and Coconut Milk, and a selection of other authentic kampung-style favourites, thoughtfully prepared to evoke the warmth of break-fasting gatherings.

The Santapan Senja Pelangi buffet will be available from 20 February until 19 March 2026, offering guests a delightful breaking-of-fast experience in a welcoming resort setting. Enhancing the evening atmosphere, diners will be serenaded with soothing classic Malay songs performed live by the resort’s
in-house band, Night Fever, creating a relaxed and nostalgic ambience throughout the evening.
In conjunction with the preview, Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa is offering an Early Bird promotion, available from now until 24 January 2026, at special rates of RM98 per adult and RM48 per child. Thereafter, the normal buffet price will be RM130 per adult and RM65 per child.
