The OZO Medini Johor is slated to open its doors to welcome guests from Q3 2024.
Being part of the Bangkok-based ONYX Hospitality Group, the spanking new hotel is led by veteran hotelier, Pierre Boudville who is the hotel’s manager.
Hailing from Penang, he comes with more than three decades of experience in the hospitality industry.

His former stints in various key roles are at the Amari Johor Bahru, Tunamaya Beach & Spa Resort Desaru, Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa Langkawi, The Datai Langkawi, Parkroyal Penang Resort and Hotel Royal Penang.
The 198-key hotel offers rooms in various categories, catering for solo, couples, family and leisure guests. Among them are the Superior, Deluxe and Premier Junior Suites.
Other amenities include their coffeehouse or EAT2Go, meeting rooms, swimming pool (on the rooftop) and the fitness centre.
The hotel is about also about 10 minutes away to the Sultan Abu Bakar (CIQs) (Customs, Immigration and Quarantine) which is the second link to Singapore.
They are located at Persiaran Medini Sentral 1, Bandar Medini Iskandar, Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
The new OZO Medini Johor is a sister property of the 5-star Amari Johor Bahru.
Meanwhile, both hotels which are part of the Bangkok-based ONYX Hospitality Group have a growing regional portfolio of 44 properties operating across eight countries.
Other brands under the group are the Shama, Oriental Residence and The Mosaic Collection.
