The eagerly awaited new ferries from Vietnam finally arrived at Butterworth Wharf yesterday.
They were transported here on a cargo ship.
The four ferries are named Teluk Bahang, Teluk Kumbar, Teluk Duyung and Teluk Kambi respectively.
They expected to enter service next month.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke is expected to be present to observe the ferry operations.
He will also join other port officials and media members to take a ride on the new ferries.
