It was a heartfelt evening of memories and laughter as former employees of the iconic Mutiara Beach Resort Penang gathered for their fourth reunion dinner.
Held at Hompton by the Beach Penang, the event brought together around 70 former colleagues and friends, some of whom traveled from as far as South Africa and the Netherlands.
Despite having moved on to new careers or into retirement, the group continues to make it a point to reconnect and celebrate the bond they once shared.

The reunion was made possible by Ms Jeeny de Kuijper—who flew in from Holland—and her dedicated organizing committee.
Guests arrived from across Malaysia, including Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, and Johor Bahru, to relive old memories and rekindle friendships. The evening began on a reflective note with a minute of silence to honor those no longer with them.
Laughter and music soon filled the air, as guests mingled and danced to a vibrant mix of Bollywood and retro hits, spun by DJ James Naras.

Adding flair to the night was a “Best Dressed” contest in keeping with the colorful Bollywood theme.
As the night ended with hugs and promises to stay in touch, attendees are already looking forward to the next reunion—scheduled for 2030.
