Spreading the festivities of Ramadan, the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) Penang Branch hosted a Ramadan Iftar Dinner with the Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Pulau Pinang at The Tamarra by Irama Dining recently.
The event was graced by Penang State Health Director, Dato’ Dr. Fazilah Shaik Allaudin and the Honorary General Secretary of MMA, Dr. Vasu Pillai Letchumanan.
Also in attendance were the Deputy State Health Directors; the Directors of Hospital Pulau Pinang, Hospital Seberang Jaya, Hospital Balik Pulau, Hospital Kepala Batas, Hospital Bukit Mertajam and Hospital Sungai Bakap as well as the Deputy Directors of Hospital Pulau Pinang and Hospital Seberang Jaya along with representatives from State CKAPS.
The Honorary Deputy Secretary, Dr. Sivanaesan Letchumanan, the Chairman of PPS, Dato’ Dr. Parmjit Singh and MMA Penang Chapter chairman Dr Divagar Varatha Raju and his team were also present.
The session also served to foster rapport and camaraderie among the medical fraternity and their members.
