Final preparations are underway for the MATTA Fair Penang which will be held this weekend at the SPICE Arena on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28, 2024.
Leading a press conference to update the latest developments was State Exco for Tourism and Creative Economy, YB Wong Hon Wai along with MATTA Penang chairman Ms Carolyn Leong at Komtar.
Lending support were sponsors and representatives from the various airlines who have also contributed airline tickets for the benefit of the visitors.
Among them were from MAG Group, namely MAS and Firefly, Flydubai, China Airlines, Xiamen Airlines, Starlux among others.
“We are in the final process of the MATTA Fair Penang and more than 300 booths will be set-up. A total of 100 exhibitors ranging from travel & tour agencies, airlines, cruise industry, theme parks, hotels including small businesses will be taking part.
“We call upon everyone to come with their family and friends to visit the fair and and check out the packages and promotions on offer”, said Leong.
Among those present was Tourism Malaysia Northern Region director, Shahrul Aman, MOTAC Penang director Dr Annuar Mohamed, PGT chief executive officer, Ooi Chok Yan, MAH Penang chairman Dato Tony Goh, Nicole Lim of MAG Group, flydubai regional manager for Southeast Asia, Ms Temima Nassir Kemal, Joe Tien (Regional Director RHB Bank) among others.
Meanwhile, Wong added that the MATTA Fair Penang will bring together various industry players and offer attractive holiday packages.
He added that the MAG Group will offer up to 30 per cent off on all fares to domestic and international destinations.
MATTA Fair Penang will also offer lucky draw session with free tickets to destinations like China, Australia, Thailand, Dubai, Taipei and many more.
