The Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair is on from tomorrow (September 2 -4).
They are delighted to announce Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG)’s airlines, comprising Malaysia Airlines, Firefly and MASwings, as the official airlines for the upcoming Malaysian Association of Tour & Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair happening on the 2-4 September 2022 at World Trade Centre (WTC), Kuala Lumpur.
MATTA Fair visitors can buy a wide variety of value-for-money domestic and international holiday packages from over 150 tourism companies and MAG airlines’ flight tickets through its appointed agents. Malaysia Airlines will be offering up to 45% discounts, while Firefly offers 31% discounts on airfares to all destinations in Malaysia and selected international destinations within the Malaysia Airlines and Firefly network.
MHholidays, the tour-operating arm of Malaysia Airlines is also offering up to 40% discount on flight and 3-day, 2-night hotel packages starting from RM362 for domestic holidays and RM1021 per person for 4-day, 3-night international holidays. These holiday packages can be booked on the MHholidays website from 31 August 2022 until 11 September 2022, for immediate travel until 12 April 2023.
To further enhance visitors’ experience at the physical Fair, the three MAG airlines will be giving away 27 tickets for the Buyers’ Contest which include Business Class return tickets to London, Sydney and Haneda; and Economy Class tickets to Melbourne, Perth, Seoul, Osaka, Denpasar, Singapore, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu and Langkawi (one return ticket for respective destinations).
Meanwhile, Firefly and MASwings are offering five (5) and 10 return tickets respectively to winners’ destinations of choice within their network.
Air connectivity is the engine that drives tourism and travel agents, and tour operators provide the fuel that ignites our desire to travel. MATTA believes such partnership and support from MAG to be a strong crowd puller to further boost and revive the tourism industry and contribute to the growth of international and inbound tourism in our country.
MATTA assures visitors planning to visit the Fair that strict compliance to SOPs will be observed. Only fully vaccinated visitors are allowed to enter the Hall, and they will be required to wear a face mask at all times and exercise physical distance in the halls along with exhibitors’ staff.
It is free admission to the Fair and it is open from 10am-9pm for the three days, Friday to Sunday. Visitors are encouraged to use public transport such as LRT and e-hailing services.
