The Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) hosted its “MAH World of Football Tournament 2026” in Kuala Lumpur recently.
Teams from across the country took part. The defending champions were from MAH Kedah Chapter who again qualified for the finals.
They met the MAH Penang Chapter team in an exciting deciding game.
As both teams could not score, the result ended in a 0-0 scoreline and resulted in a penalty kickoff.
However, the MAH Kedah Chapter team prevailed to score a 3-2 margin win in the exciting playoff.
The Kedah team also won several individual awards, namely, Muhammad Khairul Izdham Azman as the Best Goalkeeper, Muhammad Azlan Azmi as the Top Scorer with seven goals and Muhammad Fareez Abdul Maji as the Best Player.
On hand to present the trophy was MAH president Datin Christina Toh. Also present was MAH Kedah Chapter chairman, Eugene Dass and his Vice Chairman Hafiz Hashim.
