When the members of the Malaysian Association of Hotels board members come to town it is a matter of “work hard and play hard”.
With important matters like their board meeting over and a visit to the Langkawi Tourism Academy to nurture new talents for the hospitality industry, it was time for camaraderie.
The get-together was held at the Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah.
Leading the meet up chorus was Datin Christina Toh, the president of MAH and accompanied by her vice presidents consisting of CS Lim, Dato Khoo Boo Lim and Ms Shirley Lai.
A fine buffet spread put out by the food & beverage team of the Aloft Langakwi Pantai Tengah was beyond expectations.
The buffet was amazing with Tomahawk, lobsters, lamb roast, a variety of fish options and even oysters on offer.
Then there was a fine flow of white and red wine.
In the meantime, being a crooner of evergreen numbers, Khoo rendered some high tempo and sentimental numbers to entertain the guests.
This was retro in true fashion from the era of yesteryears.
