The Gentlemen Band

This Gentlemen’s band is one of a kind in Johor Bahru.
The group is made up of a motley group of talented musicians who were former buskers who came together to make great music.
They feature at the Macgregor’s Traditional Irish Pub in the heart of the city.
The four-piece group is led by Kudien (vocals), Codon (guitar and vocals) Besut (guitar) and Dyno on drums.
Their repertoire includes numbers in Thai, Mandarin, English, Malay, Spanish numbers and anything of happening songs
The band starts from 9.30pm till late. They offer a range of music from various genres. Among them are Rock, R&B, Reggae, Heavy Metal and anything in between
Then, they have their vibrant and friendly PR manager Roger Gilbert Liang.
“After the Covid-19 pandemic, only now we are having good response from regulars. Most of them are locals Singaporeans, expats living in JB.
Action at the pub starts from happy hours (5pm) till late. Guests come in for their drinks and dinner which offers a range of local and international cuisine.
Among them are Spicy Chicken Tenders, Kev’s Lamb Bites, Chilli Cheese Fries, Delmonico Steak, Tutti Fruity Salmon, Spaghetti Aglio Olio Mushroom Jumbo Prawn, Smoked Duck & Orange Sauce among other choices.
Mixologist and Bar Manager, Alfie Earle Barthelot will be on hand to serve you your favourite drink and cocktails. Among their recommendations are their Bourbon Boi, Passionately and Pomegranate crush.
