Work is underway at the Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa, Langkawi to put up their new swimming pools which includes a cafe.
The new features include a massive swimming area for both adults and kids along with slides, water features and dining facilities.
The project is part of the resort’s commitment to further improve and enhance guests’ experience during their stay there.
Resort general manager, Neoh Kean Boon expressed his confidence that the newlook swimming pools will be a hit among guests.
The project is expected to be completed by the third quarter of this year.
The resort has 355 rooms housed in chalets along the Pantai Cenang stretch. Other facilities at the resort include their coffeehouse (Spice Market), Pelangi Grill on the beach front, lobby lounge, ballroom, meeting rooms, spa and gym.
The resort is only about a 10-15 minutes drive from the Langkawi International Airport (PIA).
Meanwhile, the resort is currently featuring the only Filipino band to perform on the island.
Starting from June 6, 2024, the trio calling themselves the Music Mates will perform at the Pelangi Grill from 8pm. They perform daily except Mondays.
Their renditions are in English, Spanish, Tagalog and Latin numbers while their repertoire includes current hits, retro, blues, rock and other popular genres.
