In the spirit of Chinese New Year, a season rooted in compassion, gratitude and togetherness, The Light Hotel Penang proudly embraced the opportunity to give back to the community through a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
As part of their ongoing commitment to community care and social responsibility, they extended their support to Pertubuhan Pusat Jagaan Vallalar Pulau Pinang, a dedicated home that provides care and shelter to 30 elderly residents.
Representing the hotel, their Director of Human Resource, Thiru, personally visited the home to present the contributions and spend time with the residents.
The donation comprised essential daily necessities including rice, cooking oil and milk along with ang pao totalling RM1,000 to help ease their daily expenses and bring added joy during the festive season.
At The Light Hotel Penang, they believe that true prosperity is measured not only by celebration, but by the positive impact we create within our community.
It is their hope that this small gesture brings warmth, comfort and festive cheer to the residents and dedicated caregivers of the home.
