Free health packs for needy community

With the re-emergence of the Covid-19 cases throughout the country, the vulnerable community needs to be protected.

This is following an alarming 23.4% increase or 26,355 cases compared to the previous week.

In light of this, the Klinik Derma Sivasanta (KDS) and Penang Hindu Association (PHA) have started donating free health packs on a regular basis to the B40 groups as well as to the needy.

Each health pack contains the Covid Test Kit, 10 face masks as well as a hand sanitiser.

The health packs are distributed from Monday to Friday at Klinik Derma Sivasanta, No.11, Jalan Sungai (next to River Road Tamil School), from 6.00pm to 7.30pm.

Each family is entitled to collect one pack and will be distributed while stocks last.

This effort by KDS and PHA is part of our public health awareness programme to promote the use of personal protective equipment to the general public in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Each family is entitled to collect one pack and we hope that this small effort can help as many families as possible. The health packs will be distributed while stocks last.

Those wanting to collect the hygiene packs are advised to call P. Murugiah at 016-4449246 for confirmation purposes.
