Tourism and travel industry stakeholders gathered to celebrate the 100th edition of the iNPenang magazine recently.
The guest of honour was Penang Chief Minister YAB Chow Kon Yeow along with State Exco for Tourism and Creative Economy YB Wong Hon Wai.
On hand to welcome them was iNPenang editor-in-chief Dato Chng Huck Theng and his team
Also present was Tourism Malaysia Northern Region director Shahrul Aman, MOTAC Penang director Dr Annuar Mohamed, Dato Tony Goh (MAH Penang chairman), PGT chief executive officer, Ooi Chok Yan among other dignitaries.
In his address, Chow congratulated iNPenang for achieving its 100th edition milestone and extended his congratulations to Chng.
“I understand that since its inception in 2006, iNPenang has served as one of the most valuable resources in comprehending the state’s past, present and future initiatives.
“iNPenang has been playing a proactive role in promoting the state. I also congratulate iNPenang and Filmflix Studio on their collaboration to produce a compelling docu-series on Penang.
Meanwhile, Chng traced back the many ups and downs in the journey of iNPenang since its first edition.
“The 100th special edition is proof that we have served Penang and its visitors well and we plan to do even more,” he added.
Guests were also treated to a fine buffer lunch served by the Food & Beverage department of the St Giles Wembley Hotel.
