Playing their role as a caring corporate citizen, the Iconic Medicare Berhad contributed some 100,000 masks to the Penang state government recently.
The contribution augurs well for the state to fight the battle against Covid-19 pandemic.
On hand to present the contribution to Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow was Iconic Worldwide Berhad’s Managing Director, Dato’ Tan Kean Tet and his team.
The total of 100,000 three-ply masks is worth RM70,000.
“We will distribute the masks to the relevant agencies and departments for the use of the frontline. We are grateful to corporate citizens like Iconic Medicare for their timely contribution,” said Chow.
Meanwhile, over in Seberang Prai, Iconic Medicare Berhad also presented masks to Dato Rozali Mohamud, mayor of Seberang Prai City Council.
