Gooi previously served as Operations Manager for the two Penang-based hotels, where he played a key role in strengthening daily operations, service standards and overall guest satisfaction.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Gooi serves as a committee member of the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) Penang chapter, where he actively contributes to the growth and development of the local hospitality industry.
Outside of work, he enjoys travelling and exploring new food outlets around Penang, a passion that reflects his appreciation for the island’s rich culinary culture.
