In a powerful tribute to the transformative role women play in nation-building, the AFFIN Invikta™ TOP 50 Women of Excellence Awards 2025 has been officially launched, promising to be one of Malaysia’s most meaningful recognitions of women leaders. This year’s theme, “50 Years of Empowerment, Excellence & Impact,” honours five decades of progress—not only for AFFIN Bank but also for the generations of women who have reshaped the nation’s social, economic, and cultural landscapes.

Held recently at Level 42, Menara AFFIN @ TRX, Kuala Lumpur, the event brought together an inspiring mix of corporate leaders, media, past honourees, and women change-makers. The atmosphere was charged with optimism, as this year’s edition marks a significant evolution in the awards’ purpose: from celebration to transformation.

The Awards continue to spotlight extraordinary women from diverse sectors—entrepreneurship, healthcare, science, sustainability, education, corporate leadership, social innovation, and more. Many of these women have broken glass ceilings, uplifted communities, built inclusive businesses, and pioneered change in fields traditionally dominated by men.

“This is more than an awards ceremony—it is a movement,” said Kishvin Srinavin, Founder & Chairman of Top50 Media Synergy. “We’ve redefined the platform to reflect the dynamic and evolving nature of excellence. These fifty honourees will not only be recognised—they will mentor, collaborate, and lead the next wave of women trailblazers.”

More than just adding numbers, the expansion to 50 honourees signals a bold commitment to inclusion, highlighting the depth and diversity of women’s leadership in Malaysia today. From village schools to boardrooms, from climate action campaigns to fintech innovation labs—Malaysian women are making waves and rewriting what leadership looks like.

“The Top 50 is not just a numerical expansion—it’s a statement of intent,” said Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah Wan Ali, President & Group CEO of AFFIN Bank. “For 50 years, AFFIN Bank has stood for progress, inclusion, and sustainable growth. These awards embody our belief in empowering women as architects of Malaysia’s future.”

Nominations are now open until 30 September 2025, and submissions are welcomed from organisations, industry bodies, and the public. Categories include:

  • Business & Entrepreneurship
  • Corporate Leadership
  • Science & Technology
  • Social Innovation
  • Sustainability & Climate Action
  • Healthcare & Education

The platform is also evolving into a year-long engagement ecosystem. Starting mid-September, honourees will participate in financial literacy campaigns, mentorship circles, leadership talks, and community partnerships that translate recognition into real-world impact. These programmes will ensure the Awards go beyond accolades, becoming a living platform for action and change.

This initiative is made possible through a purposeful collaboration between Top50 Media Synergy and AFFIN Bank under its AFFIN Invikta™ brand. It reflects a shared vision to create a more inclusive and resilient economy—one where women’s leadership is not an exception, but a norm
