Hilton Kuala Lumpur is pleased to welcome Suryaprakash Ponnudurai—known fondly as Prakash—as its new Director of Food & Beverage.

With 23 years of experience in the hospitality industry, he has served in an array of renowned hotels and resorts, including Shangri-La, The Fullerton Bay Hotel, Banyan Tree, and the Valiram Group, among others.

Over the course of his career, Prakash has been instrumental in pre-opening projects, luxury dining operations, and strategic revenue growth initiatives. His contributions have earned him multiple industry recognitions, including the Singapore Hotel Association Outstanding Star Award and several Service Excellence Achiever Awards.

In his new role at Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Prakash will oversee the hotel’s dynamic food and beverage portfolio, covering specialty dining, banqueting, guest experience, and innovative promotional initiatives.

His last posting in the hospitality industry was at the Penang Marriott Hotel, where he previously held the same position. 

He will report to Ms. Linda Pecoraro, Area General Manager, on all daily operations and strategic matters.
