The highly popular and much anticipated Penang International Food Festival (PIFF) or PIFF @ Tanjong is back next month.
This year, the festival will be held on November 2 & 3, 2024 along Beach Street in the heart of George Town.
The PIFF 2024 is organised by Pusat Khidmat Ahli Parlimen Tanjong, which is led by the Deputy Finance Minister YB Lim Hui Ying who is also the Member of Parliament for Tanjong.
The event for Georgetown is managed by event organiser – Dreamz Productions Events Management and endorsed by the Penang Global Tourism (PGT).
Patrons from as far as Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh and even Singapore are expected to converge at the festival. What more with the burgeoning number of Chinese tourists flocking to Penang via the numerous direct flights.
Meanwhile, the organisers are now calling for local hawker stalls and food vendors who are interested to participate in PIFF 2024 to register.
As for the Beach Street weekend fare, stalls and booths will be limited to a maximum of 100 units only.
Food lovers can indulge in the ever popular Penang favourites like the highly carved Penang Char Koay Teow, Wan Tan Mee, Mee Goreng, Laksa, Nasi Kandar, Rojak, Pasembur and lots more.
PIFF 2024 is a perfect opportunity for local hawkers and food vendors who are interested in showcasing their culinary skills to a larger and diverse audience.
