The Gurney Plaza is welcoming the Lunar New Year of the Ox with Gurney Plaza by transforming their centre atrium into a flourishing Spring Garden of Prosperity.
Shoppers can enter the enchanting garden with a warm and hopeful heart as it embellished with numbers of cherry blossom trees.
While it denotes the arrival of spring and a time of renewal, be graced further by a kaleidoscope of butterflies as they represent hope, endurance, and courage to embrace the transformation to make life better.
Wander further in and you’ll be greeted by a garden pavilion, standing mighty and tall; structured in traditional Chinese architecture.
Accompanied with it comes with a collection of bright red thundering drums; the colour red associated with power and luck while drums used are used as a symbol of strength.
They have also organised an array of events as the run-up to the CNY. Among them are the Prosperous Showcase of Orchids, Spring Fair of Prosperity, Tea Tasting and Demonstration by the Garden Every Thursday to Sunday, Fluttering Butterflies Facebook Contest, spring Garden of Prosperity Instagram Contest, Modern Chinese Orchestra Performance, Zen Drummers Performance, Double LED Lion Dance Performance, Traditional Chinese Orchestra Performance.
