Welcome to the world of cocktail wonders.

In hyping up the cocktails scene on the island, the Penang Marriott Hotel hosted a one night only exclusive mixology mastery session featuring David Hans, Trade Ambassador of Giffard. 

The gathering was an eye-opening for guests who attended and to learn the finer points of making a perfect cocktail.

Starting off the session was the Giffard Cocktail Master Class where Hans showcased his expertise in creating his cocktails.

Guests managed to pick up some tips on making great cocktails so that they can experiment on their own at home.

The crafting session used Giffard’s premium liqueurs and syrups, all while enjoying a selection of curated drinks and canapés.

The second showcase for the evening was the “The Battle of Mixologists” which offered a showdown between Hans and the in-house mixologists.

Representing the hotel was their Josh, Evan, and Yusri who put up some new and interesting cocktails for guests to enjoy.

Among the creations were the “So Good Yeah”, (Nikka From The Barrel, Giffard Coffee Liqueur, Giffard Macadamia Syrup, Black Coffee, Salted Coconut), “Fly Me To The Moon” (Jim Beam Bourbon Whiskey, Giffard Premium Apricot Liqueur, Tie Guan Yin Infused Sake, Giffard Pink Grapefruit Syrup, Passion Fruit Puree, Honey, Lemon Juice, Egg White”, “Modern Melon”, (Tito’s Vodka, Giffard Rose Syrup, Giffard Lychee Syrup, Aperitif, Watermelon, Bunga Kantan, “Masai To Paris”, (Ginger Torch Infused Bombay Sapphire Gin, Giffard Pamplemousse Syrup, Giffard Lavender Syrup, Lime Juice, Tonic Water), “Golden Willow”, (Bacardi Carta Blanca Rum, Giffard Coconut Liqueur, Giffard Mango Fruitmix, Grapefruit Juice, Coconut Cream, Grapefruit Tonic), and finally the “Tea – Tos”,  | RM48 (Long Jing Tea Infused Tito’s Vodka, Peach Liqueur, Blossom Bitters, Egg White, Lemon Juice).
