
The Eastin Hotel Penang played its corporate social responsibility (CSR) when they welcomed members of the Friends of Childhood Cancer Northern (FOCCAN) for a special “berbuka puasa” gathering at their coffeehouse – the Swez Brasserie.
Present to welcome the group was Ms Winnie Suzan Yip, the hotel manager along with Ms Choo Chan Chan (Director of Sales & Marketing) of Eastin Hotel Penang and their team members.
“At Eastin Hotel Penang, we strongly believe in giving back to the community and fostering moments of joy, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. We recognise the incredible work FOCCAN does in supporting children battling cancer and their families, and we are truly privileged to share this evening of warmth and togetherness with them,” said Yip.
The meaningful event brought together guests, including children battling cancer, dedicated caretakers and representatives from FOCCAN in a celebration of compassion, unity and community spirit.
The evening commenced with a group photo to capture the meaningful moments followed by the presentation of duit raya.
Guests also indulged in a sumptuous Ramadan feast, specially curated by the hotel’s talented culinary team. The menu featured a delectable array of traditional and contemporary dishes, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all.
