Penang Governor with Penang Chief Minister YAB Chow Kon Yeow and YB Jagdeep

Residents in the Datuk Keramat constituency were treated to a hearty Chinese New Year lunch courtesy of their elected representative.
Hosting the treat was Penang Deputy Chief Minister Ii and state assemblyman for Datok Keramat constituency, YB Jagdeep Singh Deo who hosted his Chinese New Year open house for his constituents.
Guest of honour was Penang Governor Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak and Penang Chief Minister YAB Chow Kon Yeow.
In his address, Chow highlighted the state’s development and investment which has been encouraging.
“In the meantime, we are also very aware of the infrastructure and transport needs of the rakyat and we are working with the relevant authorities to overcome these issues.
“I am also delighted with the Prime Minister’s recent announcement that the LRT and Penang International International Airport projects will be expedited.
“The Human Capital Development, Science and Technology portfolios placed under the DCM II office are of much importance to the state in line with our Penang Vision2030”, said Chow in his address.

Meanwhile, among the highlights at the celebration were the Lion dance, traditional drums performance, bagpipe performance, cultural dance and popular saxophonist Wan’s performance among others.
Guests were treated to local dishes like satay, char koay teow, ice kacang, mee goreng, ice cream and other favorites.
Jagdeep also presented food rations for the needy in the constituency at the gathering.
A fleet of classic cars on display also made the gathering a memorable afternoon for the residents.
