Bigwigs from DAP, PKR and Amanah made their presence at the DAP dinner last night.
In all, some 1,000 guests attended the gathering held at the Han Chiang School Hall in Georgetown.
Among them were also representatives from corporates, NGOs, various associations, supporters and well-wishers.
Leading the entourage was Penang Chief Minister YAB Chow Kon Yeow, Anthony Loke, Lim Kit Siang, Lim Guan Eng, Nurul Izzah Anwar, Mujahid Yusuf Rawa and other grassroot supporters from Amanah and
PKR.
Also present were State Exco members, namely, YB Jagdeep Singh Deo, Yeoh Soon Hin, Chong Eng, Soon Lip Chee, Phee Boon Poh and other assemblymen.
Several of the leaders also delivered fiery speeches as chances are that elections might be around the corner. Members of the audience showed their appreciation by a loud rounds of applause.
Tables priced at RM10K, RM5K and RM1K were also sold to raise funds for the party.
As guests dined on a Chinese dinner, they also passed around the hat to collect another RM10, 268.50 towards their kitty.
