Celebrity chef Dato Fazley Yaakob will feature at The St Regis Langkawi’s L’Orangerie, the all-day dining restaurant to present the  exclusive Nusantara Heritage buffet dining experience this upcoming fasting month.

The collaboration with the renowned chef who is also the MasterChef Celebrity Malaysia winner will feature heritage and time tested recipes.

The culinary journey will offer over 80 dishes, each celebrating the finest flavors from various regions, all crafted with the freshest locally sourced ingredients from the island’s markets and seawater.

As part of their commitment to sustainability and supporting local communities, the menu has been
thoughtfully curated, drawing inspiration from the food culture of Nusantara cuisine and incorporating locally sourced produce from Langkawi. 

Chef Fazley, along with the hotel’s homegrown chefs, explored local markets to draw inspiration and engage with vendors, uncovering seasonal ingredients and authentic flavors that would shape the menu.

Sourcing only the freshest produce and the finest catch from Langkawi’s waters, each dish reflects the very essence of the region. This collaboration not only supports local businesses but also celebrates the vibrant spirit of Nusantara, bringing the heart of Langkawi’s culinary heritage to your table.

Chef Fazley’s signature Dulang Nusantara takes center stage, showcasing a grand platter of over 10 dishes and condiments served with rice, including Rendang Daging Minang, Paru Goreng Balado, Ayam Pop Sambal Hijau, salted fish with crispy fried onions, assorted condiments, and more. For the live stations, guests will enjoy Chef Fazley’s recipe of kuah lemak cili api, featuring a delightful selection of beef, chicken, and seafood. In addition, the buffet offers other favorites such as gado-gado, rojak buah, murtabak, and roti john. The culinary journey continues with indulgent highlights, including a rich Nusantara oxtail soup, a whole lamb carving station, and a BBQ corner featuring the freshest catch from Langkawi’s waters.

This collaboration, led by Chef Fazley and Executive Chef Unaver, brings together the best
regional spices, flavors, and artisanal recipes. Each dish is carefully curated to reflect the rich heritage of Nusantara. With special appearances by Chef Dato’ Fazley on select dates, this promises to be an unforgettable dining experience.

Nusantara Heritage buffet is available from March 3 to 29, 2025, priced at MYR 158 nett per adult from Saturdays to Wednesdays, and MYR 188 nett per adult on Thursdays and Fridays. Children under six dine for free, and children under 12 enjoy 50% off. For group bookings, enjoy a complimentary meal for two (2) when you book for 10 persons.

exclusive price of MYR 110 nett per adult on Saturdays to Wednesdays, and MYR 130 nett per adult on Thursdays and Fridays. This offer is valid for dine-in during the first week (March 3 – 7, 2025) and the fourth week (March 23 – 29, 2025) only.
