Crime Consciousness & Public Safety Society (CCPSS) held its annual Patron’s Night gathering at the St Giles Wembley Hotel.
Taking time to attend the dinner event was Penang Governor Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak
He was welcomed by CCPSS chairman Dato Mohamed Anil Shah along with deputy chairman who was also the organising chairman Dato Tony Goh of the dinner and their committee members.
Also present was Seah Kok Heng who is the advisor for CCPSS and Dato Annie Chin who is the honorary Consul of Brazil in Penang.

After the rendition of the national anthem, guests were entertained by a dance performance by little kids from a local kindergarten.
In his address, Anil Shah thanked the governor for taking time off from his busy schedule to attend the dinner.
“Among our aims are to build a community which is vigilant of crime and the surroundings.
“Safety is a community effort of all and everyone needs to play their part,” he added.
He also urged well-wishers to support the Yayasan TYT which offers aid and assistance to the needy and underprivileged community irrespective of race or religion in the state.
He also thanked the many sponsored well-wishers who have made it possible for CCPSS to carry out their activities.
“Our governor is a visionary leader as he is leading the state in all areas and sectors,” added Anil Shah.
The evening also saw several members and guests rendering favourite karaoke numbers for the listening pleasure of the guests.
Meanwhile, several sponsors also presented mock cheques and appreciation certificates during the ceremony.
The CCPSS is a non- governmental organization (NGO) which aims to instill peace and greater sense of safety in the community. Founded in Oct 8, 2020, their vision is to reduce the risks of crime victimization and increase cooperation between the community and public safety authorities.
